Ian Walling, Managing Director & Chartered Accountant
Ian’s vision is to create an accountancy firm that doesn’t just do the figures and fill in the forms, but makes a real difference to the businesses and personal lives of the business owners he works with.
He has over 12 years experience, working for local and national accountancy firms with clients big and small from a range of sectors.
Boasting a wide-ranging skill set and a friendly, warm but professional approach, Ian supports individuals in running their businesses more efficiently and helping them achieve their business and personal goals.

Mark Walling, Director & Chartered Accountant
Mark is our Senior Accountant, who joined the team in August 2021. He brought with him over 5 years’ experience in a Big 4 firm working across a large portfolio of audits.
Mark shares Ian’s vision to offer clients a service which goes beyond the figures and filling in the forms. His ambition is to help the business and clients he works with to succeed.
Mark’s responsibilities here at Walling Accountants include attracting new clients, preparing accounts and audits as well as offering tax advice.
When Mark isn’t in the office, he can usually be found playing cricket for Garstang Cricket Club.
Luna Walling, Barketing Assistant
Luna is our office mascot and newest member of the Walling Accountants team. At just 6 months, she’s still learning the ropes but plays a vital motivational role in the business.
Her main responsibilities include greeting visitors, hoovering the floor after lunch and moral boosting.
When Luna isn’t in the office, she enjoys walking in the lakes, eating, sleeping and destroying cardboard boxes.
